A young girl is frustrated whenher grandmother comes to live with her family; which means sharing her room with someone who speaks a different language.
It's a difficult transition, especially with the language difference, and doesn't go well until they encounter and adopt a butterfly that is handicapped by a bent wing.
The shared interest helps them overcome both the language difficulty and the awkwardness of sharing a room.
